A 13 Line Poem by Wendy on Life’s Failures & Successes
There is no use of crying over what is done
Can you stop the rising or the setting sun?
You can’t turn back the clock, there’s no going back
All you can do is get your life back on track.
Ensure yesterday’s mistakes aren’t repeated any more
There’s no need to be afraid, sitting idle by life’s shore.
Each failed endeavour is a stepping stone for me
I just need to cross the river of life, I’m sure to see
Success is close at hand, just within my reach
All failures and mistakes just served to teach
If I stand up to the challenges life throws my way
If with courage and conviction I face the day
I’m sure succeed in this, game of life I play…

Beautiful poem! You are so creative. I think my best poem would be an acrostic. That was one skill I could never master. I love the line that failures and mistakes just served to teach. Fabulous.
